During a visit to a large residential project, I noticed that the best part was not the tall buildings but the public spaces between them. Residents had cafés, trees, benches and safe paths close to home. It made me curious: in a major development, should quality infrastructure come before adding more buildings? How do you measure a truly successful neighbourhood?
