I ran into this with a little movie-review blog I kept as a hobby. The posts were getting shared by friends, but Google barely sent anyone over, so I started learning about backlinks before paying for anything. With a modest budget, I’d first compare what providers actually deliver rather than chasing huge link numbers. This from Rule Your Rankings pricing post  is worth a look, especially for understanding typical pricing and spotting offers that seem too good to be true.
