House Rules

You will be staying in a Faith Based Organization. Facilitators, please orient your
attendees on all Rules, Safety, and Information when utilizing our beautiful facility. In
addition, please observe the signs and disclosures on the inside premises and outside.
You will also notice signs at the spiritual sites. Please respect our spiritual sites.

Additional Rules, Safety, and Information:
Do not exceed maximum number of guests authorized at registration on premises (9
Guests) for overnight stays. Maximum of guests (15) for 2 to 4 hours, half-day events or
full day events. (An additional fee of $75 per person in excess of maximum will be

FACILITY ACCESS: Usually a representative of Sacred Roots will greet our guests upon
arrival, but in some instances the facilitators of the event will be given a front-door
access code 24-hours before the scheduled arrival to the property.
TOILETRIES AND MISC. ITEMS AVAILABLE: Shampoo, conditioner, regular soap, body
soap, toilet paper, liquid dishwash, and hand sanitizer.
SAFETY: It is the responsibility of the guest and facilitator to review posted signs
including Exit signs in the facility. In addition, the premises have a carbon monoxide
detector, fire extinguisher in the kitchen, and smoke detector.
SAFETY FIREPLACE: The facilitator will be responsible for safety when utilizing the
inside premises fireplace. A lighter is provided. No exhilarants within three feet of fire,
fire screen should always be in front of fire, only burn firewood provided, the fire is to be
always attended, and the logs should be stacked toward the back of the fire box. Clean
the firebox before starting a fresh fire. The fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen
adjunct to the fireplace.
CHILDREN: Children are welcome to Stone Cabin Creek for social events.  It is up to each facilitator whether it would be appropriate to have children attend their event.  We encourage parents to engage their children in the community and want everyone to feel like family.  The cabin and property is not child proofed in any way and therefore the children under 13 need to ALWAYS have a responsible adult in the room or outdoors with them who is aware of and attuned to the possible dangers that the child could encounter. Facilitators can organize childcare for an event and are fully liable for all aspects of childcare and safety of the children. Stone Cabin Creek, Hiareth LLC,  Sacred Roots Spiritual Community and Sacred Roots Integrated Therapies PLLC hold no liability for children, their care or safety when on the premises.
PETS: No pets allowed. Trained and certified service animals are exempt from this policy. 
OUTSIDE FIRES AND FIREPIT: The facilitator will be responsible for safety when
burning a fire in the outside firepit. There will be a $15. charge for firewood and the
facilitator must notify us at the time of registration, if they wish to burn a fire. Only burn
wood that is provided. Someone must be assigned to always monitor the fire. Please donot put exhilarants on the fire. After using the firepit, take the water hose and wet down
the fire.
SMOKING: Not allowed except outside or on deck of facility. Remainder of stay will be
canceled without a refund and an added fee of $750 - $3000 will be charged for smoke
TOILET FACILITIES IN PREMISES: Please instruct your guest to use the toilet paper
supplied by Sacred Roots. No other items, papers, or feminine products should be
flushed in the toilets. A fee of $200. will be assessed for stopped-up toilets.
TOWELS / LINENS: Please be respectful of bed sheets and towels (normal wear & tear
is expected). Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will
stain and/or bleach linens/towels. Unsalvageable linens/bath towels will incur a $50.00
fee. Unsalvageable bed sheets or comforters will incur a $100.00 fee.
THERMOSTAT: Please keep thermostat between 65 and 72. Before leaving the facility,
please set the thermostat to 68.
EVENTS AND PARTIES: No Parties or unruly behavior. (Remainder of stay will be
canceled without a refund and subject to an additional $1000+ fee.)
CODE OF CONDUCT: Please read the Code of Conduct posted on this website.
DAMAGE TO ROOM AND REMOVAL OF PROPERTY: Damage to rooms, fixtures,
furnishing and equipment including the removal of furniture, fixtures, accessories, tools,
electronic equipment, towels, artwork, etc. will be charge at 120% of full and new
replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to property,
whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest. In extreme
cases, criminal charges will be pursued.
DAMAGE TO MATTRESSES AND BEDDING: Damage to mattresses and linen including
towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils,
make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or
replacement of the damaged article. These fees can be $250+.
LAND AND PREMISES CLEANUP: The following land and premises cleanup will be
posted in the kitchen on the premises:

  • Pick up trash throughout facility on the inside and outside and put in the outside trash receptacle.    

  • Take trash out from every room and place it in the outside receptacle.

  • Remove sheets and pillowcases from every bed and put them in the downstairs bathtub if beds are used. 

  • Place all used towels, hand towels and wash rags in the downstairs bathtub.

  • Kitchen, clean counters and sink.

  • Wash and dry all dishes, pots and pans used and place back in cabinets and shelves.

  • Clean out refrigerator.

  • Do walk through to find any forgotten items such as chargers, phones, etc.

  • Check-out at assigned time.

  • Lock and secure all exterior doors before leaving the facility.     

TIMELY CHECKOUTS: Unscheduled late checkouts will incur a fee of $125. Our turnover
team may be on a tight schedule, and unfortunately, we can’t accommodate
unscheduled checkouts. You can however schedule a 1 hr late check out, a minimum of
48 hrs before check-out time for an additional $50. if the facility is available. Please
reach out ahead of time if you would like to take advantage of this option.
