Beltane time is the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice.

Beltane, also known as the May Day, is the time of celebrating life, passion, and fertility in nature and in our lives. 

Wed, May 1, 2:30-8:30 pm

2:30-5 pm Flower Wreath Making workshop for people of all ages with Sarah Katharine and Svetlana

5-6 pm Maypole Dancing (2 rounds) - 12 people, 12 ribbons - Kevin and Svetlana

6-7 pm Community Potluck - everyone

7-8:30 pm Bonfire Song Sharing Circle

The sharing circle will be an opportunity for each participant to share whatever is alive for them at this time. This could be a song, poem, story, dramatic expression or emotion.

We will be encouraging and holding space and presence for the sharing of grief in community at this time as we have had many community members experience great loss this past year.

Please decide for yourself whether you have space for this or want your children to experience this deeper expression of human experience.

If you RSVP for this event, you can come or go to any or all of the days’ activities.

• cut flowers for wreath making if you are taking part in the early activities
• a dish for community potluck
• a song and/or a sharing that's alive for you right now if you are taking part in the fire ceremony
