Shamanic Journey and Clearing—for Ancestral Healing—with Medicine Songs and Teachings from the Amazonian Jungle

Workshop Description

Led by Maestros Brown/ Brother Bear and Pamela/ Cyana who have been trained in the traditions of Amazonian Shamanism/Curanderismo in the Peruvian jungle, where they co-founded a plant medicine center 10 years ago.

They will be offering a ceremonial healing workshop (without the use of psychotropic Amazonian medicines). This event will include a discussion on the nature of the spirit of plant medicines, from which Brother Bear and Cyana have learned their icaros (plant songs) for healing, diagnosing, clearing pathways, and for ancestral healing and cleansing.

The ceremony will be held in a safe container, for each individual to journey into connection with oneself, and to receive clearings from the plant medicine spirits, through their live songs and instruments.

One-on-one consultations will be offered to each participant during the day.

Additionally, Cyana will teach some of the sacred yoga poses that she was gifted over a period of 8 years within Amazonian Medicine Ceremonies. These are postures to embody the sacred geometric forms that exist within and around us. These sacred asanas amplify the elements within and connect us more deeply to our essence by clearing vital pathways within our energetic bodies. These poses can be used as a meditation tool for inside or outside ceremonies, for spiritual protection, and clearing and activating the mysteries within.

10:30am–11:30am: Circle — Amazonian tea offered (non-psychotropic) Discussion Ancestor Offerings on the Land

11:30am–12:30: Ayahuasca Yoga—light poses

12:30–1pm: Potluck Lunch

1pm–4pm: Ceremonial Circle—Shamanic drumming and medicine songs Consultations Medicine offerings

4:30pm: Closing Circle
