Launched a product earlier this year that hit every milestone we planned but flopped commercially. On paper we accomplished everything, in reality we failed. That experience made me seriously rethink what business goal accomplishment actually means. How do others separate real success from just executing a plan that was wrong to begin with?

Been there - we launched a feature that checked every internal box, even celebrated it, and users just… didn’t care. That’s when it clicked: execution isn’t success if the premise is off.
